**Wind Turbine Blade Technician**

**Responsibilities**

Responsible for W TG blade repair, preparation, paint and fiber repairs, service to damaged blades. Maintain professionalism and quality workmanship.

**Duties**

Positive interaction and engagement at daily pre-starts and during work.

Responsible to ensure PPE including tools, equipment, plant is inspected, fit for purpose.

WTG blade inspections, assessments, plan and perform repairs as required.

Manage and oversee storage of paint, epoxy and blade repair tools on site

**Other Information**

Be supportive to all on site as required.

Maintain good hygiene at all times to prevent the risk of exposure to COVID-19

**Qualifications Required**
- GWO training
- Siemens BT profile
- Siemens Blade B & C certificate
- Siemens Spot on Paint certificate
- Introduction to Lifting Bags (SE-P-85695)
- General Electrical Awareness eLearning course (L**AUS)**:

- SGTT General Technical Safety Awareness e-learning (SE-P-50510) or (SE-P-D7900) 'RATA / 3
- SGTT - LOTO Awareness e-learning (SE-P-50560)
- Project management competencies including team coordination and problem-solving skills Sound interpersonal communication skills
- Vestas BT profile
- MH' Vestas V164 Prototype, VI 10 Blade, trailing edge and moulder.
- Vacuum pressurization and drop testing, vacuum infusion, demoulding. LM/GE BT profile
- Ability to use standard MS Office
- Warehouse, storage logístical knowledge
- Professional, committed and Quality minded
- Employment Experience Required.
- Minimum 3years of Blade Repair, Service experience, preferred on GE, LM, Vestas and Siemens blades - WTG
- Registration/Licensing Requirements
