**About the Company**

We are currently recruiting a Switchboard Operator for a NSW Government agency based in Cessnock.

**About the Role**

This position would be providing administrative, switchboard and reception services to internal and external clients to support the delivery of quality services for the organisation.

Key accountabilities include:

- Act as a point of contact performing reception services including telephone/switchboard and/or counter enquiries from staff and clients
- Undertake a range of administrative support services, including word processing, data entry, preparing correspondence, taking minutes, maintaining electronic and file records and support with meetings and events
- Undertake routine financial activities in accordance with relevant practices and standards
- Assist with projects and research

**About You**
- Experience in the use of computerised switchboards
- Administration, customer service and reception experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and have time management skills
