Designed with a people-first approach, Aminya Centre offers a warm and welcoming place to call home in the north-western Sydney suburb of Baulkham Hills.

This popular home contains 86 general care beds featuring ensuites, large built-in wardrobes and emergency-monitoring systems for your safety and security. Our beds are ideally suited to anyone looking for quality care or respite options within a friendly, tight-knit community.

**About the role**

BaptistCare Arminya Centre is seeking a Catering Assistant on a **casual** basis to present and deliver high quality nutritious meals to our residents. You will enjoy working in a large team who are committed and being able make a difference in the lives of residents.

Duties may include:

- Assistance in basic meal preparation and serving
- Making tea and coffee
- Assisting Chefs with food prep when required
- Working to achieve and maintain a high standard of cleanliness
- Checking and recording temperature of food
- Following all Food Safety Guidelines and HACCP program
- Assisting with deliveries of stock and stock rotation

**About you**

The successful applicant will be a team player who enjoys interacting with older people and has the right heart and drive to serve.
- Previous kitchen/server experience in a similar role
- Understanding of work health and safety practices
- Ability to work unsupervised and take on physically demanding tasks
- Previous experience in aged care (desirable)
- Willingness to work as part of a busy, friendly team
- Strong focus, positive attitude and is well organised
- Excellent communication skills
