**Field Operations Team Leader**
We are seeking a Field Operations Team Leader in our Customer Connection Services Area, you will be required to provide leadership of operational teams through the effective management of resources, finances, plant, and equipment to deliver maintenance, repair, construction, overhauls, commissioning, operation, and emergency response services for our internal and external customers.
This role is based at our brand-new state-of-the-art South Metro Depot in Forrestdale, conveniently located next to Tonkin Highway. Spanning across 120,000 square meters. With the latest infrastructure and technology, the depot empowers all employees to create that perfect work-life balance whilst operating in an inclusive and diverse workplace.
**Your Role in Action**
- Manage the efficient and effective use of resources, plant, and equipment, to achieve both short
- and long-term operational cost-effective work program and work-stream deliverables & KPIs
- Provide operational leadership and ensure the right levels of trained resources are available to meet operational needs
- Accountable to provide a safe work environment and enhance employee and contractor Occupational Health and Safety adherence
- Accountable for ensuring allocated work and projects are programmed to achieve deadlines through optimum use of resources to achieve improved operational efficiencies
- Provide technical guidance and coaching of teams to build strong, direct relationships and internal skills
- Manage assigned budgets and works programs
**What Makes You a Great Fit**
- A relevant Trade Qualification or diploma/tertiary qualification
- Postgraduate qualification in project management, engineering, or business discipline (Desirable not essential)
- 5 or more years technical experience in a relevant area (e.g. transmission, distribution, protection or similar operational background)
- 5 years experience in a Supervision role
- Demonstrated capabilities in managing a diverse operational workforce in multiple locations
- Proven communication skills that enable effective interaction between key stakeholders
