Only About Children Freshwater Early Childhood Teacher(ECT) Full time
Our campus in Freshwater is a purpose-built one-level 96 place early learning centre, in one of the most popular commercial hubs in Freshwater. This role is offering between $40.41-$55.91 per hour dependent on your level of NESA Accreditation.
The Role
The objective of this role is to provide high quality education, development and care to the children in our campuses whilst providing an exceptional customer experience and partnership experience with our families. These objectives make up our core OAC offering to families called “The OAC Way”. The ECT may also supervise other team members in the capacity of a Room Leader.
- Be the point of contact for communications with families about developmental outcomes and school readiness in consultation with the Campus Director
- Will facilitate the process of family information and progress meetings
- Actively participate in the leadership team by attending meetings, sharing ideas and being motivated towards the campus vision
- Support the Campus Director with decisions made throughout the campus
- Support and encourage ongoing learning and study for all team members

Requirements of the Role
- A Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood) or equivalent ACECQA approved teaching qualifications
- Valid NESA accreditation
- Experience in planning and implementing the educational program which values a holistic view of each child's development
- Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and EYLF
- Effective implementation of pedagogy in your teaching practice
- Valid employee Working with Children Check number
