**About the role**

Yarra Ranges Health, Day Surgery Unit, currently has 2 operating theatres with a combined surgical mix of Ophthalmology, Urology, Gynaecology, General Surgery and Plastics. The unit is seeking a Theatre Technician to join our strong, supportive and efficient team in their delivery of excellent quality patient care.

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will possess:

- Holds a Certificate 4 in Operating Theatre Technician Support
- Has greater than 36 months’ experience (full-time equivalent) as a Theatre Technician
- Working with Children Check
- Operates with a high degree of autonomy and accountability
- A strong commitment to high quality care
- The ability to work as part of a diverse team
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the _Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice)_. Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment._
