It is a requirement for our community roles all staff possess a reliable vehicle, valid Australian driver licence and be willing to travel throughout the region visiting clients in their own homes.

**About the role**
Our Domestic Assistant's provide support to our Home Care clients, ensuring they are supported with services and activities that are centred around their health, happiness, independence, interests and choices.

**These include**:

- Meal preparation, bed making, dusting and wiping, spot cleaning of customer homes including but not limited to cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, cleaning toilets, cleaning windows, sweeping, vacuuming and mopping floors.
- Occasionally transporting clients for outings / appointments / shopping and respite.
- Ability to identify and promptly report changes in the client’s condition to your team leader.
- Communicate in an appropriate and effective manner that is conducive to effective teamwork with colleagues.
- Complete all documentation in a timely and accurate manner.

**To be successful, you will have**:

- Experience**in Aged Care or similar field i.e. Cleaning/ Housekeeping
- Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
- Police Check (valid within the last 3 years or willing to obtain)
- Annual flu vaccinations (or willingness to obtain)
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate
- Evidence of COVID-19 vaccinations
- **Australian drivers licence**:
