**HIGH demand** for skilled Disability Support Workers to work with our
**NDIS** clients on the
**Gold Coast.**

HCA is highly regarded within the industry and is a leading supplier of staffing services to Hospitals, Aged Care facilities and Community Organisations throughout Australia and overseas, so opportunities for our workforce are extensive.

**About the role**:
As a skilled, experienced Disability Support Worker you will be an expert in supporting clients with a variety of disabilities, physical and intellectual as well as Metal Health and challenging behaviours.

You will know how to attend to Personal Care needs, including Medication Assistance, PEG Feeding, Bladder and Bowel Care Management. (Training can be provided in these areas.)

You would be a Veteran with Manual Handling performing client transfers, as well as transporting clients to medical appointments and social activities.

Disability Support Workers must have good availability and must be willing work AM and PM shifts, as well as nights, weekends and Public Holidays.

To be considered for this role you will need to meet the following requirements:

- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including 3rd Booster)
- Minimum of Cert. 3 (or higher) in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care or Mental Health with a minimum 12 months PAID experience
- Experience working in Residential Settings/ 1:1 Support is highly regarded
- First Aid & CPR Certificate - current
- NDIS Workers Screening Clearance - current
- Working with Children Check (QLD PAID Blue Card) - currently
- Smart phone with access to Wi-Fi
- Unrestricted Australian Drivers License
- Comprehensively Insured Vehicle
