As an Employment Coach you will actively engage with participants to identify the skills and potential barriers to employment, working with individuals to achieve their employment goals. SYC delivers employment services at over 50 locations throughout Australia, and you’ll be based in **Ringwood, Victoria.**

In this role, you’ll be part of a supportive and result driven team who are dedicated to our vision of well-being, independence and opportunity for everyone. Day
- to-day activities will include:

- Working collaboratively to build positive relationships with employers and participants
- Actively promote and market participants to potential employers helping to create employment opportunities
- Achieve sustainable employment outcomes for participants by providing support to develop skills and abilities
- Refer participants through training, counselling and other services to increase long term employment outcomes

**About You**
- Excellent communication skills with well-developed verbal, and written skills, and the ability to prepare and conduct effective presentations.
- Self-motivation and initiative, with well-developed organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines and attend to multiple tasks and priorities.
- Interpersonal, conflict resolution and negotiation skills along with the ability to identify innovative and lateral solutions to problems

**For this role, you will need to**:

- Be willing to complete a Working with Children Check and National Police Check
- Be eligible to work in Australia
