Venue Manager

**VENUE MANAGER**

The position is for a full-time venue manager to join our fun and exciting team operating a community and local pub in Murrumbeena. The venue is open seven nights a week, and the position will require weekend and evening availability.

The position is to organise and control the operations of our 100-seater venue in Murrumbeena, with duties including but not limited to:

- Maintaining excellence and quality of our service and product - i.e. ensuring meals & drinks are presentable and that all customer feedback is received and passed on to the relevant people
- Hire, train and supervise staff to ensure they provide exceptional product & service at all times (in accordance with business and management requirements)
- Weekly Rostering of the staff in accordance with business requirements to ensure we provide the best service, in accordance with business and management requirements (send for management approval, before issuing)
- Organising and maintaining a clean and presentable venue in terms of all equipment, tools, displays, and dining areas, in line with food and safety regulations
- Organising reservations, assisting with the service and operation of the shift including large function enquiries and bookings and liaising with kitchen and customers in relation to any specific dietary requests or events
- Ensuring dining, operating and service facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance
- Checking and maintaining cleaning procedures in line with health regulations
- Acquiring feedback from customers regarding their satisfaction with their meals, drinks and service and improving where possible
- Liase with management on a weekly basis with feedback and issues
- Organising weekly stock count and ordering of wine, beers, liquors, soft drinks, and other miscellaneous items - assist the kitchen with ensuring their ordering and deliveries is on schedule

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
