**About our host**

Our host employer is a mechanical workshop, servicing cars, trucks and machinery. Specialising in diesel mechanical work, engine swaps and conversions. Break down service and on-site servicing of machines and vehicles, located in Mittagong.

During your time as an apprentice, you will complete a **Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology.**

**Some of what you will learn**:

- Complete scheduled services on trucks and trailers,
- Complete repairs to plant and equipment
- Identify and report issues to the Workshop Supervisor
- Record repairs and faults in register and computer system as needed
- Ensure the safety of other employees, contractors or members of the public whilst carrying out duties
- Greasing and lubricating trucks and trailers
- Assisting tradesmen + more
- Maintaining an environmentally compliant workplace.

**Must have**:

- Experience with using basic hand tools (desirable)
- Car Driver Licence
