**About the role**

Ventia’s Defence Base Services (DBS) team are seeking an experienced **Transport Driver** based at HMAS Stirling, Rockingham. In this role, you will be required to drive Shuttle Buses both on and off site.

You will be expected to be flexible with start and finish time as this role works a day shift pattern which covers any of the below start and finish times:
Early Shift 05.30am - 14:00pm

Middle Shift 07:00am - 15:30pm

Late Shift 09:00am - 17.30 pm

**Key duties, but not limited to**:

- Vehicle operator maintenance including cleaning, inspecting, basic fault finding and minor repairs on all vehicles licensed and qualified to operate
- Conduct non-technical inspections on fleet vehicles
- Carrying out mailing duties (sorting, distribution & delivery between bases)
- Basic paperwork and filing

**Experience & requirements**:

- Previous experience in driving Passenger Transport Vehicles within busy operational environments
- Must be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance
- Hold a current and unrestricted drivers WA Drivers Licence with Passenger Transport Driver (PTD) authorisation
- Additional MR or HR licence - highly desirable
- Well presented, flexible with good customer service skills
- Good knowledge of navigating around the Perth Metro Area
