**About the role**:
You will coach and support the business to understand their risk, determine and implement appropriate risk management activities including the development of safe working procedures and practices. You will lead risk assessments, draw in operational expertise and ensure appropriate controls are implemented and reviewed for effectiveness. You will support Operations with audit, engagement, training, investigation and continuous improvement activities.

**To be successful, you’ll have**:

- Formal qualification in OH&S and previous experience in a similar role in a medium/high risk industry experience such as FMCG, workshop, manufacturing or essential services.
- Working knowledge and understanding of all relevant Safety legislation
- Experience related to risk and compliance management
- Experience implementing Safety Management Systems
- Effective and demonstrated stakeholder management skills with the ability to network and negotiate with as well as influence at all levels
- Strong verbal and written skills, with the ability to prepare engaging communications, documentation, and reports
- A solution focused and analytical approach to problem solving, including providing quality strategic and operational advice and customer service
- Proven capability to work positively in a team environment or autonomously where required
- Current full Victorian drivers’ license
- Australian Citizenship
