**Position Title**: Dietitian (Grade 2)

- **Salary per hour (exc. super)**:$44.17 - $49.74
- **Hours per fortnight**: 48
- **Employment Status**: Fixed Term Part-Time

**The Team**
- The Community and Public Health Services Division has a primary focus on improving the health outcomes of the communities in our region. With a range of local and regional programs supporting place-based health promotion, prevention, care and support, they work collaboratively with other Divisions and regional partnerships and networks to support quality outcomes. The Division has a strong leadership role in the Loddon Mallee Region and is committed to ensuring processes are in place to deliver on our Division.

**Selection Criteria**
- Essential : Recognised Degree or higher qualification in Nutrition & Dietetics and be eligible to be a member of the Dietitians Association and Accredited Practicing Dietitian program
- Essential : Ability to meet the requirements of the Bendigo Health Allied Health Credentialing and Professional Standards
- Essential : An understanding of and experience in the provision of nutrition and dietetics services to individuals and groups in the community setting using a person-centred approach that promotes reablement
- Essential : Demonstrated understanding of health and related issues for elderly people, people with disabilities, and their carers
- Essential : Demonstrated ability to coordinate and provide an effective, efficient high quality dietetic service
- Essential : Demonstrated ability to supervise and support grade 1 dietitians and undergraduate students
- Essential : Demonstrated commitment to working in a multidisciplinary team that includes collaborative partnerships with service providers involved with the care of the client
- Essential : Demonstrated ability to be self-directed, motivated and to manage time effectively
- Essential : Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across client, community and professional groups
- Essential : Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and ability to meet the requirements of the Bendigo Health Allied Health Credentialing and Scope of Practice
