Kitchen Hand

We are looking for **Casual Kitchen Hand** to join our team at The Juniors.

The Kitchen Hand is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of the kitchen, dishware and storage areas are maintained to a high standard. This is a hands-on, fast paced role suited to an individual who thrives on a challenge and is keen to work in a busy kitchen team environment.

**About the role**:

- Ensure the presentation and cleanliness of the kitchen is always maintained to a high standard
- Ensure all dishes, pots and pans are washed clean and stored correctly
- Maintain stock areas, deliveries and recording temperature of goods
- Inspect delivered goods and report any issues to the Head Chef
- Maintain policies and procedures in relation to WH&S, security and food hygiene standards
- Report all incidents/accidents, including potential health and safety hazards to the Supervisor

**About You**:

- To be successful in this role, you will have exceptional organisational skills, be energetic, hardworking and have a positive attitude with previous Kitchen Hand experience.
- Strong attention to detail, initiative and the ability to work in a team or independently.
- Previous experience using a commercial dishwasher is advantageous.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts across a 7-day roster (lunch and dinner), including public holidays and the festive season.
