Civil Drafter

The position is for a full-time Structural/Civil Draftsperson at our Brisbane office to develop quality working drawings for residential, commercial and industrial developments using AutoCAD and Revit.

If successful, you will join an established local company in the Sinnamon Park area.

Duties of the Position

You will be a key contributor in your role, working with the engineering and design team to create precise and comprehensive drawings that meet client specifications for various residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

Your responsibilities will include coordinating with the team to establish and maintain a timeline for tasks and their respective outcomes. The primary focus of this role will be successfully planning and completing assigned drafting projects within agreed budgets and timeframes.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person with the following qualities:

- 2 or 3 years of drafting experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Experience in using Revit is advantageous but not essential
- Having a career portfolio is highly regarded
- Experience in the documentation of various commercial, industrial and residential projects
- Keen eye for detail in creating drawings for various structures, from initial concept to detailed design and documentation. Also willing to sketch out a problem manually
- Responsible for creating and adhering to a timeline for assigned tasks and related deliverables
- Quality written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

Pay: $74,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
