**About the Role**

We are currently seeking an experienced Paralegal / Conveyancer to join our team in Somersby. Under the guidance and mentorship of the General Counsel, you will be responsible for:

- Managing conveyancing matters
- Preparing & reviewing basic legal documents
- Conducting legal research
- Assisting with the preparation of advice
- File review and management
- Providing general administrative support
- Acting as point of contact with key stakeholders
- Other duties as required to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the legal department and business as a whole

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience as paralegal/conveyancer
- Conveyancing experience essential, including with PEXA
- Knowledge of legal professional and ethical responsibilities relating to client confidentiality and conflicts of interest
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships across the business

Experience in one or more of the following fields would be highly advantageous:

- Debt recovery
- Commercial leasing
- Competition and Consumer law
- Planning law
- Environmental law
- Migration law
- Mergers & Acquisitions
- Privacy law
- Construction law
- Work Health & Safety law
