**Engineering - Toolmaker Apprenticeship**

- Gain a** Certificate III in Engineering - Toolmaking Trade **upon completion

**Your duties may include**:

- Perform basic incidental heat/quenching, tempering and annealing
- Perform general machining and lathe operations
- Perform milling, grinding, fittings and use of hand tools for precision work
- Interpret technical drawing
- Perform precision mechanical measurement
- Mark off/out (general engineering) and perform engineering measurements
- Perform computations and calculations
- Use of computing technology
- Maintain tools and dies
- Dismantle, replace and assemble engineering components

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- Must be an Australian Citizen or have the right to work in Australia
- Drivers Licence preferable
- Certificate II in Engineering desirable
