**Job Description**:
AECOM is seeking a **Hydrogeologist** to join our Perth Geosciences Team that would like to develop and advance their groundwater career. This position will support our dynamic group of hard-working professionals within the Environment Business Line.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

- Perform hydrogeological and environmental field tasks, as requested, efficiently and accurately, using standard methods, procedures, and techniques. This could include drilling site supervision, soil and bedrock logging, soil and water quality sample collection, pumping test supervision, single well response testing, completion of private water well surveys, construction monitoring, etc.
- Utilise basic scientific principles, theories, practices, and existing technologies to develop solutions for technical problems with limited scope.
- Interpret and record data, conduct analyses, compare findings to relevant studies and local, provincial, and federal regulations to ensure compliance.
- Be part of a project team, which includes attending daily meetings, performing rudimentary analysis, and reporting.

**Qualifications**:

- Degree in Geosciences, Geology, Hydrogeology or, other related fields.
- 3 years’ experience within the environmental, mining or groundwater sector
- Valid manual driver's license.
- Proficient in MS Office
- Strong staff coordination and communication skills (both written and oral)
- Experience with groundwater resources, hydrogeological assessments, construction dewatering, groundwater monitoring, aggregate resources, geochemistry, and/or groundwater modelling and groundwater remediation
- Experience using advanced scientific principles, theories, practices and existing technologies to develop technical solutions to complex problems with mínimal oversight.
