- This role is Permanent, Full-time, 76hrs/fortnight based in IKEA Logan.

- You have the availability to work a rotating roster that includes one late night per week and one in three weekends (both Saturday and Sunday).
**About this work area**
As Communication & Interior Design Manager your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Secure and champion inspiring range presentation solutions, an optimal store layout and effective and efficient store communication that builds the IKEA Brand and distances IKEA from the competition.
- Create and secure the visual identity of the store and play an active role as the creative director to inspire our customers and co-workers through home furnishing.
- Lead, coach and develop a high performing team that actively contributes to the unit goals, whilst securing succession.
- Play a pivotal role as part of the Senior Store Management team and act as a commercial business partner to proactively contribute to the local and national business plan and growth plan.
- Lead and secure the implementation of local and global solutions within the store in collaboration with your team.
- Finding new ways and being solutions focused to inspire our visitors and co-workers with interior design solutions that meet and exceeds their dreams.
- Support the store operationally and be responsible for Duty Manager shifts in store where required.
As Communication & Interior Design Manager you are:
- An inspirational leader with strong stakeholder management skills to influence and drive the growth agenda by maintaining customer focus and inspiration whilst maximising profitability.
- Inherently driven, solution-focused and believe in challenging and finding ways to inspire our customer and co-workers through meeting their needs and exceeding their expectations.
- Driven to secure and strengthen the brand position of IKEA as a leader in Life at Home, throughout the store layout, range presentation and store communication.
- Inspired, motivated and driven to position IKEA as a leading home furnishing retailer in the local market.
To be considered for this role experience in the following is essential:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Communication & Interior Design Manager or equivalent.
- Ability to lead and secure compliance in the IKEA Concept review as well as other relevant market reviews.
- Ability to lead the Communication & Interior Design team to be commercially and customer focused, with a growth mindset.
- Ability to coach others, secure successors and develop talent and high performing individuals and collaborative teams.
