Our group internal audit, risk and governance team are always looking at ways in which they can improve their approach to conducting and evaluating internal controls and compliance for our stakeholders across the group. An opportunity has arisen for a graduate to join our supportive team.
**About the opportunity**
Reporting to the Head of Audit, Risk and Governance and working alongside the Senior Audit and Risk Officer, you will assist in the delivery of the annual Internal Audit Plan. Your focus will be to perform continuous auditing activities, providing on-going assurance on the effectiveness of key controls and enabling timely insight into risks and other issues. More specifically, your responsibilities will include:
- Independently perform continuous audit activities over Finance, HR, IT and operational departments
- Deliver audit findings and recommendations to stakeholders within agreed budgets and time frames
- Periodically follow-up agreed actions with stakeholders
- Establish and maintain productive and collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Participate in the design and development of business improvement projects
- Assist in administering the Risk Management Framework
- Help deliver the Internal Audit Quality Assurance and Improvement Program and Risk Management Framework
**About you**
You will share a passion for our purpose and be aligned to our core values. In addition, you will:
- Have completed or be inthe final stages of a Bachelor of Business, Commerce or similar
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bring self-confidence and a willingness to collaborate with stakeholders and the ability to build solid long-term relationships cross functionally
- Demonstrate curiosity and a continuous improvement mindset
- Possess advanced MS Excel skills
