Manager, Group Treasury

**The opportunity**
The purpose of the role is to support the AMP Group’s Asset and Liability Management Leadership team with broad and direct responsibilities for financial stress testing and Balance sheet management modelling activities that take in the full analytical, modelling, reporting and policy determination functions within AMP’s Group Treasury functions for the Group and its subsidiaries including AMP Bank Ltd.

**How you will make an impact**
- Lead the Group’s Financial Stress Testing Activities which informs the Group and Bank capital and liquidity requirements and earning’s sensitivities.
- Aligning the Group’s financial plans and forecasts with risk appetite settings that inform the level of financial resilience required for them AMP Group.
- Supporting senior leaders within Group Treasury, the Group Treasurer, the Risk Division and other functions set financial plans and guide the insights and decisions that determine the Group’s financial and risk strategy.
- Oversight and monitoring of key financial analysis, ratios and outcomes that will impact material financial decisions review at executive and board level
- Accuracy and completeness of financial reporting, measurement and calculation of ICAAP related items and associated processes

**What you will bring to the role**
- Undergraduate level degree in a finance related or economics-based discipline preferable.
- Experience within the financial services sector within a regulated institution or the finance function within other industries is preferential.
- Sound understanding of best practice risk management concepts, with demonstrable experience in change management viewed favourably.
- Treasury experience in financial forecasting, liquidity and cash flow management, funding and capital management preferred.
- Ability to undertake analysis, provide financial detailed financial modelling and balance sheet analysis with a sound understanding of financial concepts are essential.
