**Job Description**:
Based in East Rockingham, WA and reporting into the Senior Manager, HSE - Resources and Industrials, this role will lead our Fuels and Gasses sector nationally. Providing direct HSE oversight of our Rockingham operation which will account for 30% of your remit, you will also coordinate your 3 Regional HSE Managers who service our Fuels and Gasses operations across VIC, NSW and QLD.
This is an exciting time to join our Fuels and Gasses business and bring your prior experience in Bulk Fuels or Gasses to the table with a global player in the market. This newly created role presents you with the opportunity to shape and improve the HSE Management systems and strategy in collaboration with the business. **Responsibilities include**:
- Provide direct onsite HSEQ advice and support to operational sites as required, including the Toll Rockingham site.
- Actively support the consultation and implementation of Toll’s Global HSE Management System.
- Lead the development and implementation of sector-level HSEQ management systems ensuring alignment to broader Company requirements.
- Lead a high performing team through active coaching and mentoring of direct reports and other HSE support personnel.
- Monitor compliance with Company and statutory HSE requirements, including participation in regular HSEQ audits and inspections with operational stakeholders.
- Develop and review HSEQ Improvement Plans in partnership with business leaders ensuring alignment with broader Company HSEQ plans, objectives and targets.
- Promote and support excellent customer relations, including participation in customer HSEQ review forums as required.
**Qualifications**:
- Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety and / or other relevant discipline.
- Tertiary HSE qualifications (highly desirable)
- Dangerous Goods qualifications/ training (desirable)
**About you**
**To be successful in this role, you will**:
- Have multiple years' experience in a hands-on and strategic safety leadership role.
- Come from a sector that has a strong Fuels or Gasses interface.
- Transport knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation.
- Possess the ability to travel as required interstate, though will manage your own travel requirements in conjunction with the business needs.
