**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Growthbuilt is looking for an experienced HSE professional to join our business to be our main safety presence on of our flagship projects based in Shell Cove.

You will have complete coverage of our Shell Cove site while also being supported by the Senior Site Manager and all other personal on site. As the HSE Coordinator you will be tasked with driving The Growthbuilt Way, (our Integrated Management System), client satisfaction and working closely with and collaboratively with all staff at all levels, to maintain excellence in Health and Safety.

Your first 2 weeks will allow you to shadow our current staff and learn our internal and operational systems, processes, onboarding, and weekly inspections.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**
- Assist with ISO & FSC accreditations ensuring periodic audits are scheduled to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Drive the IMS (The Growthbuilt Way) and identify and implement initiatives to improve it, including all procedures, processes, and safe systems of work; ensuring all documentation is kept up to date.
- Ensure and support an internal audit schedule to ensure that sites and offices are complying with the requirements of accreditations and legislation.
- Liaise with registration bodies, authorities, subcontractors, suppliers and Regulator as required.
- Overall responsibility/authority for all incident and near-miss investigations and reporting.
- Ensure the company meets the necessary legislative obligations and drive the continuous improvement of HSE throughout the company.
- Ensure that project teams are working in a standardised approach to the company’s established policies and procedures.
- Develop and conduct relevant health and safety training as required throughout the organisation.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Graduate Diploma in WHS
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role in the construction environment working on project between the value of $70-$100 million
- Previous experience running an IMS system compliant with ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 through accredited bodies.
- Detailed knowledge and experience maintaining Australian and International standards within the Australian construction industry
- Support or lead Auditor qualifications (eg. ISO 9001) preferred
- Green project experience and training an advantage as are other environmental credentials
- Broad knowledge of NSW WHS & Construction legislation, Australian Standards, Codes of Practice
- Current First Aid & CPR certificates required prior to commencing in the role
- Professional Membership of the AIHS highly regarded
