The Role - Served Up
As a brand bringing elevated hype around Legendary Charcoal Chicken (and our famous garlic sauce), EJ’s Store Manager will be responsible for maintaining the same high standard, knowledge, and policies within current and upcoming stores. We want you to know what we do and how we do it well. Proactively deliver the highest level of service to our cult-following customers, develop and level-up our team, and hit all those business goals We know you can handle a bit of heat.

Key EJ Responsibilities
- Bring a positive, welcoming vibe to the role
- Ensure our awesome customers experience a consistent EJ experience. Our service (and delicious feast) always leaves them satisfied
- Always strive to exceed KPIs and store profitability
- Competently manage store finances (from invoicing procedures through to profit and loss analysis and payroll)
- Be a key player within the full lifecycle of your team - onboarding, training, and offboarding
- Manage team rostering and financial targets within the business
- Ensure Food Safety standards are always adhered to store-wide
- Maintain store’s excellent standards; cleanliness of machines and equipment
- Adhere to WHS and ensure customer and staff safety
- Be on top of stock level management

Sound Like You?
- Instinctive leadership qualities to help nurture your team (AKA your work fam)
- Completed (or willing to undertake) a Food Safety Supervisor course
- Previous experience in a management role within the hospitality industry
- Up for a challenge and passionate about good, soulful food and customer journey
- Good verbal and written English communication skills
- Understanding of written operational and financial reports
- Excellent people management skills and the ability to resolve conflicts quickly and efficiently
- A people person with an approachable personality
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A great attitude to willingly complete store tasks
- Microsoft Office software proficiency (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
