**About the role**:
An exciting opportunity is available for a collaborative and agile Work, Health and Safety Partner to join our dedicated Safety & Wellbeing team on a permanent full-time basis. This hybrid role will involve travel to various BaptistCare sites across Northern NSW and some travel to our Norwest Support Services office.

Reporting to the Senior Safety Partner, you will be responsible for the delivery of proactive and high-quality advice and support to frontline services on all aspects of Work Health and Safety. You will be passionate about health and safety and have the innate ability to build rapport with various stakeholders.

The Safety & Wellbeing Team sits in a broader, full-function People & Culture team, where collaboration to improve leadership and safety capability are key strategic priorities. Already in FY24, the team have achieved migration to ISO45001 and have several safety capability development programs underway. It’s an exciting time to join the team and make an impact

**About you**:
To be considered, you will have:

- Completion of a WHS tertiary qualification (minimum of a Certificate IV in WHS)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in consulting to internal clients on health and safety, or equivalent relevant experience -preferably within an aged care, healthcare or other care or frontline services setting.
- Highly developed interpersonal, relationship building and customer service skills
- Collaborative and agile, with a drive to increase safety at all levels of the organisation
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently, and think proactively
- Valid Australian Driver’s License and commitment to travel
- Demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of BaptistCare’s Christian identity and promote the organisation’s values through interactions at work.
