The Role
An opportunity has become available for several Registrars (Emergency Department) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 10 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Establish management plans for patients in consultation with the consultant
- Ensure appropriate and timely communication to the General Practitioners, other health care providers and carers
- Communicate assessment findings, proposed management plans and alternatives to patients and carers
- Act as a role model to residents and interns through providing on the job guidance and direction and become involved in prevocational educational programs
About you
**To be successful in this position you will require**:
- AHPRA Registration
- Evidence of competency in speaking and communicating in English as demonstrated by having completed the International English Language Testing System examination and achieving a minimum score of 7 in each of the four components may be necessary
- Driver licence
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (Chicken Pox), Pertussis (Whooping Cough), Hepatitis B and COVID 19
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be completed

Salary
- Temporary full time (8 positions)
- Base salary ranging from $116 316 - $134 861 per annum

Our Registrars spend spending three to six months at a time at both departments, with high exposure to a variety of attendances per day. Based in Southport and Robina.
