Our busy Cat Rental store in Laverton is seeking a highly motivated, energetic and customer focused individual to take on the role of Yard Person.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Reporting to the Team Leader - Rental Services you will be responsible for maintaining the yard, coordinate machine and equipment deliveries and assist with the preparation of rental equipment. You will be required to work Monday to Friday, starting at 7am and every second Saturday - 7am to midday.

**Key responsibilities of this role include**:

- Detailing and preparation of equipment for rent
- Maintaining the yard and yard storage in a clean and orderly state
- Completing incoming check lists for machines and attachments
- Coordinating inwards and outwards goods for service
- Carrying out daily security checks on machines in yard
- Ensuring that the workplace is clean and safe, and that all quality assurance procedures are followed.

**ABOUT YOU**

**To be considered for this role you will have the following skills, experience & attributes**:

- $29.11 per hour plus super
- Hold a current Forklift Licence
- Mechanical ability / aptitude (essential to this role)
- Previous experience with heavy earthmoving equipment
- Good communication skills (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational skills and the capacity to handle several tasks simultaneously
- A strong commitment to safety, health & environment procedures
