Cleaning/housekeeping

**Duties**:
Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas.

Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, and waxing to maintain well-kept floors.

Manage custodial duties in both commercial and residential settings, ensuring all areas are sanitized and presentable.

Assist with facilities maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and equipment upkeep as needed.

Carry out industrial cleaning responsibilities, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.

Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate personnel promptly.

Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stocked and in good working condition.

Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and high standards of cleanliness.

Qualifications:
Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred but not required.

Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.

Familiarity with floor care methods, including buffing and maintenance, is advantageous.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions effectively.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.

Pay: $38.23 - $45.54 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift

- Monday to Friday

Supplementary Pay:

**Experience**:

- Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)
