**ABOUT THE ROLE**

TAFE NSW is seeking a Permanent Teacher of Aeroskills Avionics delivered at the Padstow Campus. We have invested significantly in upgrading teaching equipment, facilities, and digital infrastructure. This strong commitment allows us to deliver dynamic learning, combining teaching excellence with technology to deliver world-class skills to our students.

Taking an industry-led approach, we are meeting the growing demands for industry-specific training to be delivered in diverse ways, by being agile and evolving how we deliver our services. In this role, you will use your industry experience and knowledge to deliver innovative educational in-class programs. You will help construct, guide and enhance the educative process.

To be successful in this role you must:

- Hold the minimum vocational qualification Diploma of Aerosills (Avionics) MEA50118. And highly desirable is the Diploma of Aeroskills (Mechanical) MEA50219 or equivalent. With a commitment to maintain technical industry currency in any discipline.
- Have a minimum of five (5) years relevant and post-qualification experience in the industry relevant to your qualification. With the ability to understand the content of the learning materials and the processes used in the discipline.
- Hold the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or the TAE40110 qualification with the required additional upgrade units, or higher-level qualification in adult education.
