Catering Supervisor

An opportunity exists for a motivated person with catering experience to take the lead as a Catering Supervisor, alongside rostered hours in operational shifts.

This is a rewarding position that requires you to lead an effective customer focused team and ensure the efficient and safe operation of all catering services. Some of the critical elements you will be responsible for will include the following:

- Ensuring high quality customer service at all times and managing customer concerns as required
- Provide effective and efficient leadership over front of house employees and facilities
- Support front of house employees to meet their performance outcomes and provide on the job front of house catering training to new and existing employees
- Monitor rostering requirements on shift and approve daily timesheets
- Monitor operational compliance ensuring the club and employees are operating in accordance with all relevant legislation including but not limited to Responsible Service of Alcohol, Food Hygiene and WHS operating procedures
- Monitor and enforce established club standards, policies, and procedures
- Investigate and report on customer and employee related incidents

- A sound knowledge of catering operations including knowledge of current legislation
- Be attentive to customer needs and capable of handling complaints & enquiries

- Has a trained eye for attention to detail and excellent cash handling skills
- Be proficient with time management and prioritisation abilities
- Effective communication skills (oral and written) including having the ability to effectively liaise with front and back of house staff
- The ability to solve problems and implement change
- Is able to demonstrate impeccable presentation standards
- Demonstrated compliance to policies and procedures
- Foster and promote a safe and secure environment for customers and employees
- An ability to think on your feet and plan whilst you 'go'
- Have very open availability as per the demands of our business
- Current RSA and RCG certification
