Dulwich Hill Pharmacy, located in Sydney’s Inner West, is searching for a motivated Pharmacy Student or Pharmacy Assistant, to join their team. The successful applicant will have a friendly cheerful nature and be able to provide exceptional customer service in the dispensary and in the front of shop. They will help the team undertake a variety of tasks to ensure effective operation of the pharmacy.

**About the role**

The position is ideally suited for those with a passion for learning and willingness to continually develop their knowledge of pharmacy practice to best assist the pharmacy to deliver the highest standard of healthcare. Must have excellent customer service skills and looking for a long term career in pharmacy.

**Requirements**:

- Prior pharmacy retail experience would be ideal, but could accommodate someone with extensive proven retail experience
- Looking for hardworking and friendly people that have a passion for learning and helping customers with their healthcare needs
- Must be able to deliver impeccable customer service and enhance customer loyalty and new customer acquisition in line with training and pharmacy knowledge
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be reliable, efficient and possess strong attention to detail
- Have exceptional work ethics and able to work well in a team & autonomously

**Duties and Responsibilities**

The pharmacy assistant is required to excel at all areas in customer service, this includes:

- Sales
- Stock control
- Merchandising
- Learning product knowledge
- Providing complete health guidance and advice
- Understand all aspects of retailing
- Build excellent rapport with customers
- Work in a clean and professional manner in accordance to relevant legislation and guidelines
