Seeking an experienced financial fraud investigator/transaction monitoring analyst | Immediate start| Great career progression

**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
PERSOLKELLY has partnered with a highly respected Bank that operates nationally with their Head Office based in Sydney CBD. We are looking for an experienced Financial Crime Analyst/Fraud Officer/AML Officer to join on a permanent basis. The main responsibilities include the investigation of Daily Transaction Monitoring alerts, raising Unusual Activity Referrals, and reporting where required.

**YOUR DUTIES**:

- Daily analysis of AML transaction alerts
- Raise and Assessment of Unusual Activity Referrals
- Process escalations
- Additional AML duties completed in accordance of SLAs
- Present improvement ideas
- Interact with external partners such as law enforcement agencies, vendors, and banks to action requests and validate the information
- Recommend risk rating for high-risk customers
- Understand legislative requirements and policies in fraud control operations

**PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Experience in s similar Fraud/AML/Transaction monitoring role 6+ months - essential
- Austrack online experience - desirable
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workflows
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong team player
