PERSOLKELLY are seeking an experienced Graphic Designer to hit the ground running in to this great 2-3 month opportunity within local Government.

We are seeking an experienced Graphic Designer to hit the ground running in to this great 2-3 month opportunity within local Government.
- Location: Perth CBD
- Payrate: $45-50 per hour + super
- Start date: ASAP within one week
- Finish date: 2-3-month assignment (full-time temporary - possibility of an extension)

**Position**

To provide graphic advice to staff on a variety of jobs (print, signage and digital). To take responsibility for the creative development of content and delivery of effective visual communication materials.

**Duties will include**:

- Creatively conceptualise, design and develop graphics projects, from inception to implementation
- Provide and utilise expert skills in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, (on a windows platform).
- Liaise with contractors and technicians as needed, using knowledge of pre-press and experience dealing with printers, signage contractors, creative consultancies, IT staff and web developers.
- Collect and create creative briefs through consultation with internal clients. Negotiate and manage their needs while protecting the City of Perth's brand and visual quality.
- Plan and implement project timelines, managing workload on multiple projects in order to meet deadlines.

**Essential Criteria**
- Experience designing and developing creative digital work (web and print)
- Experience using design software (Adobe Creative Suite, In Design, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Experience designing for a print environment (pre-press knowledge and ability to liaise with signage contractors)
- Ability to manage multiple design projects and planning project timelines and briefs

- Local Government experience
