**About Your Role**:Electrical & Computer Systems Trade Supervisor**

As part of our Avionics group, you will join our high performing Training and Simulation team which delivers both simulation products and training services to Defence and Civil customers in Australia. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for coordinating a team of technicians to operate and maintain the supported equipment.

**This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based at HMAS Albatross, Nowra.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and mentor a team of technicians to operate and maintain the multiple different HATS Synthetic Training Devices, Flight Simulators, HATS ICT Network and MEGHAS Avionics elements
- Ensuring that the supported equipment is maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines
- Maintaining tools and test equipment, and ensuring that equipment is in calibration.
- Developing and instructing maintenance courses as required.
- Co-ordinating spares and repairs to ensure that the supported equipment meets contracted availability requirements.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Qualifications in Avionics, Electronics, Computer IT or similar fields.
- Previous experience as a simulator technician or similar
- Experience in a technical workshop or maintenance environment.
- Previous experience in leading a team
- Be eligible or hold Australian Defence Security Clearance - NV1
- Australian Citizen
