Established in 1999, Cable Distribution Services are a leading Stockist and Distributor of premium Electrical, Fibre Optic and Communications cables and accessories for the Industrial, Commercial, Marine, Offshore, and other Markets.

We are seeking an experienced, motivated and reliable Warehouse Person to join the team at our Malaga facility in a sole charge position.

**Duties will include, but not be limited to**:

- Unloading/Loading of trucks and containers
- Inspection/checking of goods received to ensure accuracy and quality
- Matching supplier orders to Customer backorders
- Maintaining accurate paperwork and data entry
- Ensuring the management and accuracy of stock via cycle counts/stock taking
- Managing the safety, order and cleanliness of a busy warehouse
- Picking, packing and labelling of goods for dispatch
- Coordinating deliveries, pickups and proof of delivery when required
- Adhering to COVID and other related Hygiene tasks
- Operation of cable winding machines (full training will be provided)

**The successful person will have the following skills and attributes**:

- Be punctual, reliable and able to work under pressure at times
- The ability to plan and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
- Be able to work independently and unsupervised
- Be physically fit and in good health
- Have good literacy and numeracy skills and attention to detail
- Be able to work and cooperate in a team environment
- Be customer focused and possess a positive proactive attitude

Qualifications and Experience
- Must have a current WA Forklift License
- Minimum of 1 year in a warehousing or logistics environment
- Have a good understanding of warehouse processes and procedures
- Have a current WA driver's license
