We currently seeking customer-oriented logistics Store Person to join our warehouse team on a day shift 9-day fortnight on an exciting 15 months’ contract.

**What you’ll do**

Store Person’s day to day responsibilities will involve traditional warehousing duties including forklift activities, goods receipt, cycle counting, order picking, packing goods for despatch, operating palletising equipment and performing computerised warehouse management tasks. In addition:

- Focus on supporting the inbound goods receipt process and scheduling of deliveries
- Dispatches finished goods ensuring all relevant documentation is correct and meets Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory Practices and Safety, Health and Environment and legal requirements
- Resolves or escalates complex queries about the delivery/collection of goods internally and externally to AstraZeneca
- Monitors, records, and replenishes critical items of stock, including packaging components and consumables, to maintain required levels for manufacturing around the site
- Investigate problems with inventory and processes to develop solutions in a timely manner.

**Essential for the role**
- Attention to detail
- Ability to follow written procedures
- Basic SAP and PC skills
- English comprehension in keeping with GMP requirements

**Desirables for the role**
- Experience in a Pharmaceutical warehouse environment
- Familiar with GMP standards
- High Reach Forklift Licence
- Operation of automated equipment
