**About the Role**
We are seeking a **Technical Writer** with experience in** Food, FMCG, Pharma or Manufacturing environments** to create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation across our operations at the Don Castlemaine site.
This role focuses on **writing in plain, clear language** to ensure accessibility across all levels of the business. You’ll work closely with internal teams to translate complex processes into easy-to-understand documents, diagrams, and workflows.
**Responsibilities**
- Work with internal teams and external experts to gather technical details (Procedural documentation, Subject Matter Expert Interview) and translate them into clear, concise documents.
- Develop, write, and maintain SOPs, technical documents, and instructional materials in alignment with technical details gathered.
- Create visuals like infographics, diagrams, and workflows to complement written materials.
- Ensure documentation meets company and industry standards for accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Production, Quality, Maintenance, Projects, Training and Safety teams to review documentation to ensure alignment.
- Manage version control and ensure documentation is kept up-to-date.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas to streamline processes.

**About You**
You are a skilled technical writer with:
- **5+ years of experience** in SOP or technical writing within Food, FMCG, Pharma or Manufacturing.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with a focus on clear, plain language.
- Effective Presentation and reporting skills
- The ability to **research**, **simplify**, and **communicate complex processes** effectively.
- Experience collaborating across teams and managing documentation lifecycles.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across the business.
- Proficiency in **Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat**.
- Experience with **data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau)** is desirable.
