**The Role**:
We are seeking a motivated and passionate Leisure and Lifestyle Assistant, supporting the Leisure and Lifestyle Coordinator and the Residential Care and Service Manager on a part time basis.

The purpose of this role is to assist in the development, implementation, delivery, and evaluation of a suitable and individually assessed social and lifestyle support activity programs for consumers at the facility that promotes the whole person’s well-being with a focus on the consumer’s needs, goals, and preferences.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Follows the lifestyle program and provides feedback to the Leisure & Lifestyle Coordinator.

Document the consumer’s focused outcomes of the program’s delivery into the appropriate records.

Work a planned schedule.

Work with and alongside the other facility staff to get the best consumer centered outcomes for consumers.

Participates in the continuous improvement cycle at the home.

Build relationships with families and other agencies at the service with the goal of improving life for consumers in care.

Report workplace risks management.

Report resident risks to management.

Participate in the development of the lifestyle program and the facilities over all operation as able and appropriate.

**About You**:
Must hold relevant qualifications in a health field such as Leisure and Health, approved Diversional Therapy or Activity Worker course

Certificate III (or above) in Aged Care

Alternative therapy qualification or certificate - e.g., Massage, aromatherapy etc.

**Other Requirements**:
Satisfactory Police Check

In addition, and if appropriate, Driver’s License, Nurse Registration, Working with Children Check, and/or any other requirement specific to the role.
