**About the Role**:
As a Trainee Respiratory techniciant, you will be trained to perform a wide range of lung function tests, working closely with patients, clinicians, and allied health professionals. You’ll gain hands-on experience while contributing to improving respiratory health outcomes across the community. To begin with we are offering 1 day (8 hours) per week, however there is scope for this to increase if the business need arises.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Conduct and assist with respiratory function tests (e.g., spirometry, gas transfer, lung volumes)
- Provide patient education and support
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to safety and infection control standards
- Participate in ongoing professional development
**About You**:
- A science degree or equivalent qualification (biomedical/health sciences or similar)
- Strong interest in respiratory medicine or allied health
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to learn in a fast-paced clinical environment
**Desirable**:
- Experience in a clinical or healthcare setting
- Knowledge of respiratory anatomy and physiology
- Familiarity with medical devices or diagnostic equipment

Pay: $32.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 - 24 per week
