**About the role**

Our Laundry staff are the people who we trust to provide clean clothes and linen to our residents every day. This requires strong time management and the ability to efficiently coordinate your day.

During your day you will get to engage in meaningful conversations with the residents, giving you a sense of purpose in the work that you do.

**The Malvern East Home**:

- Large 149 bed home located in a leafy neighbourhood, 5 minutes’ drive from the delightful Waverley Road shopping strip which boasts a great selection of gourmet cafes and shops, near an abundance of great parklands.

**A day in the life of a Laundry Assistant may see you**:

- Ensure all laundry requirements are met each shift
- Working as part of a team to help others and demonstrate a team spirit
- Complete reporting and documentation based on Regis policy and procedure
- Deliver excellent customer service in all that you do
- Always interact with the residents in friendly, helpful and positive manner

**What we look for**:

- Previous experience in a laundry role; or the willingness and motivation to learn
- Ability to complete set tasks within time frames provided
- Experience within Aged Care (desirable)
