Are you an experienced maintenance leader with a background in mining contracting? We are seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance operations at a large coal mine in Queensland. This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing superintendents who manage the day to day operations, implementing efficiency improvements, systems, and best practices to optimise performance.

About the Role
- Develop and implement strategic maintenance plans, systems, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, safety, environmental, and operational standards.
- Drive cost efficiency, asset reliability, and long-term maintenance planning.
- Work closely with mine site clients and internal stakeholders to align maintenance strategies with operational objectives.

About You:

- At least 10 years of experience and proven leadership in maintenance management within a mining contractor environment
- Strong knowledge of mobile plant maintenance
- Demonstrated success in driving efficiency, cost savings, and reliability improvements
- Experience managing contractual obligations, KPIs, and client relationships
- Excellent leadership skills with a focus on mentoring and developing teams
- Strong understanding of industry regulations, safety, and best practices
- Current Mining Supervisor - G1, G8, G9 & G2
