**Job Title**: Support Worker - Community Access & Capacity Building (Aged Care/Disability)

**Job Type**: Casual
**Pay**: $31.96 per hour
**Location**: Narre Warren South & surrounding areas

At EdenCare Support Services, we are dedicated to improving the health and well-being of individuals with disabilities. We’re currently looking for compassionate, reliable, and energetic Support Workers to provide personal care and home care.

**Purpose of Role**:
To provide high-quality support services that help our clients build routines, improve life skills, provide personal care and engage with their community. The role is focused on assisting aged care clients with disabilities, helping them thrive in daily life activities.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times
- Support community access and capacity-building activities tailored to the participant's needs
- Assist with personal care such as toileting and meal feeding (if required)
- Facilitate communication between family members and service providers
- Assist with light cleaning and administrative tasks
- Provide medication support if required (and appropriately qualified)

**Availability Required**:

- Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (9:30 AM - 12:30 PM)
- Additional availability is favorable

**Qualifications**:

- Qualification for Individual Support/Disability Support
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Employee Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificates (or willingness to obtain)
- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Driver’s license and reliable vehicle (required)
- Eligibility to work in Australia

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Certificate III/IV in Disability or Mental Health
- Experience with dementia and aged care

**Skills & Competencies**:

- Excellent communication skills and ability to adjust to different audiences
- Strong teamwork and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and ability to complete administrative duties efficiently
- Patience and empathy in dealing with complex behaviors

**Personal Attributes**:

- Passion for assisting individuals with disabilities
- Ability to remain professional under pressure
- Positive attitude towards feedback and change
