Biomedical Technician Cadet

This role is a hands-on role and cadets have access to a well-equipped mechanical workshop and utilise equipment such as lathes, grinders, laser etching machines and use hand tools extensively. Upon successful completion of studies cadets will progress to the position of Biomedical Technician with a primary focus on mechanical services including surgical instrument repair and refurbishment.

- Ability to gain knowledge and skills in instrument making or repair, toolmaking or other mechanical technology maintenance/servicing that requires fine hand skills, precision, and an eye for detail.
- Ability to work as a team member to achieve goals and objectives.
