Healius provides quality healthcare services that are easily accessible and cost efficient, while supporting the coordination and continuity of quality patient care.**We are currently seeking a Part Time Pathology Aide (Maternity Relief ending September 2025) to join our Gosford team.**
- Key responsibilities will include specimen sorting as well as other ad-hoc duties as required.
- Laboratory experience is highly desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
- Reporting to the Laboratory Manager your duties will be:

- Monitor arrival and dispatch of specimens and forms in a timely manner
- Answering internal and external enquiries
- Filing and retrieval of specimens, where applicable
- Maintain work station/area adequately, such as general housekeeping
- Ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities as required

**To be considered for this role, you must have**:

- Experience in a medical field
- NSW drivers licence and own car is necessary
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and other departments both verbally and written
- Ability to demonstrate sound organisation skills
- Ability to work within a team
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to understand and ensure compliance with WHS policies and guidelines
- Ability to share the company’s vision, cultures and values through respect for all
