**Maintenance Fitter**

We are a gourmet baby leaf salad company based in Bacchus Marsh and are seeking a motivated Maintenance Fitter to join our fast paced team. This role is a full time position.

Duties will include, but not be limited to:

- Assist with maintenance requirements for buildings, packaging and production machinery and equipment repairs, etc.
- Assist with OH&S maintenance responsibilities.
- Assist mechanics and fabrication workshops.
- Repair and replacing worn and defective parts and re-assembling mechanical components and referring to service manuals as needed.
- Perform scheduled maintenance service on production equipment.
- Testing and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for accuracy and proper performance.
- Assist with mechanical requirement on production line.
- Ensure timely completion of maintenance jobs and manage maintenance register.
- Responsible for all administration requirements of factory maintenance including job sheets, timesheets, stock takes, etc.
- Ensure all maintenance works are carried out to comply with regulations and safety requirements.
- Proactively ensure maintenance practices are compliant with relevant changes in legislation.

Training and Qualification requirements:

- Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade plus two years post qualification experience, or at least three year relevant experience.
- Current drivers licence.

Salary (depending on experience) between $50,000 and $60,000.
