About Springwood State High School
Situated 20 minutes south of Brisbane CBD, we are a co-educational school for years 7-12. Our natural bushland setting and fantastic facilities provide an inspiring environment for our students to achieve academic excellence within a culture of care. About the Role

**Responsibilities of the position include**:Faculty/House Leadership**:

- Provide leadership within the Technologies faculty, overseeing curriculum areas such as Design and Digital.
- Management of staff, including professional development of staff teaching in the Design and Digital Technologies curriculum areas.
- Lead the implementation of Springwood State High School's strategic pillars, focusing on 'Our Culture', 'Our Learning', 'Our Students', and 'Our Pathways'.

**Community Engagement**:

- Develop and nurture partnerships with primary schools, community groups, and businesses to enhance community confidence in our school.
- Facilitate collaboration with external stakeholders to support the growth and development of Springwood State High School.

**Academies Program Oversight**:

- Develop and promote Excellence Academies within Springwood State High School, fostering a culture of academic excellence and innovation.
- Oversee Springwood State High School Academies program, ensuring alignment with school objectives and academic standards.

**Staff Professional Development**:

- Coordinate whole-school staff professional learning in Deep Learning through PD Cafes and Continuous Professional Training (CPTs), in line with the school's Annual Implementation Plan (AIP) goals and targets.
- Provide guidance and support to staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge in innovative teaching methodologies.

**Enrolment and Transition Support**:

- Collaborate with the Principal and Deputy Principals on enrolment strategies and transition programs to ensure a smooth transition for students.
