**About Paediatric Emergency Department**
If you enjoy working in a supportive, dynamic, evolving environment, with a wide diversity of patients, then Monash Medical Centre’s Paediatric Emergency Department is the place for you.
The new paediatric ED at Monash Medical Centre is co-located next to the Adult ED but staffed separately. We are the paediatric tertiary referral centre for south-eastern Victoria. Monash Children’s new hospital facilities opened in 2017, further establishing Monash Health as a leader in paediatric care. MMC is accredited for 12 months of PEM registrar training with RACP and ACEM.

**About the Role**
An exciting opportunity exists for HMOs to join our growing service. Opportunity to spend either 6 or 12 months in Monash Medical Centre’s (MMC) paediatric emergency department. The position is ideally suited to those interested in pursuing a career in paediatric emergency or emergency medicine. Previous HMOs working in this role and undertaking training with RACGP have greatly benefited from the training and experience provided. ACEM recognises 6 months spent in paediatric emergency for a junior doctor to enter training.
**About You**
To ensure your success in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Appropriate health professional tertiary qualifications
- Working with Children's Certificate
