As a Roaster at Campos Coffee at our roasting facility in Eagle Farm, Brisbane, you’ll be ensuring that all of our coffees offered are consistently roasted to highlight each unique flavour profile at the highest quality whilst meeting supply demands.

In this role, you’ll love the ability to:

- Roast coffee according to our various sensory profiles
- Learn all about the world of coffees: origins, roast profiles, flavour profiles
- Assist Quality Control in preparing and cupping samples according to SCA (Specialty Coffee Association) protocols
- Work with our Head Roaster to implement new roast profiles and update existing roast profiles
- Contribute to and work in a safety-first culture and environment
- Be involved in the process of getting our finished products to our customers

**Working Days and Hours**
The standard working days are Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week, from 6 AM to 2 PM. We require some flexibility regarding your working hours.

**About you**
As a Campos Roaster, you’ll seriously care about doing a great job. You’ll love contributing to the team and the company, and you’re passionate about providing outstanding service.

We’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

- Ideally a minimum of two years experience as a Coffee Roaster
- Experience operating Probat and/or Diedrich roasting machines (preferred, not essential)
- The fitness and capability to regularly lift and, or move up to 30kg independently
- Attention to detail and appreciation for quality
- High organisation skills and ability to be agile and multitask
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic level of computer literacy - Excel, Word, Outlook
- Ability to work independently as well as a team contributor
- A safety-first mindset
