**Curriculum Leader Position**
**Part time - Tuesday and Thursday**
**Cockburn - 15 hours per week**

**The Organisation**

Meerilinga has operated since 1911. The children and community centres provide access to free and fee paid children and community programs and activities, facilities use and information. Income generating activities including facility rental and licenced early learning programs operate from the centre.

**About the role**

A unique opportunity to lead a small team of Diploma trained Educators in a Pre-kindy environment. Our beautiful service is integrated within the Children and Community Centre. Our 20-place service offers children aged 2.5 years to 5 years play based learning from 9am to 2pm, 2 days per week.

**Selection Criteria**

**Essential**
- Excellent knowledge of National Quality Framework
- Demonstrated experience building partnerships with children and families
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to design and deliver exceptional educational programs
- Ability to collaborate, encourage, and inspire Educators
- Sound judgement and decision making
- Competent in role modelling innovation and creativity in our Early Learning programs

**Qualifications**
- Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent (ACECQA approved)
- 2 years’ experience leading an early learning program.
- Current First Aid
